Here is why the indian community and non muslim slams Ridhuan Tee Abdullah. His racist remarks towards the indian community was unreasonable without even a single blink to the current government which was giving their bless to the movie itself.
The problem occurs when you speak without knowing the truth behind the scene.

Majlis Madrasah India Muslim Malaysia (MIM) memberi maklumat kepada saya mengenai kontroversi filem Vishwaroopam, yang dihentikan penayangannya buat sementara waktu oleh Kementerian Dalam Negeri (KDN), ekoran banyak adegan menghina agama Islam. Malangnya, parti politik India komponen Barisan Nasional (BN), mendesak mahukan filem ini terus ditayangkan kerana pada mereka ia hanya lakonan. Jahil sungguh mereka dalam memahami budaya masyarakat Islam. You have written this on 18 feb 2013. But on 19 feb 2013, KDN has lifted the ban of the film. You can refer below links to recofirm it.

The temporary ban imposed on controversial Tamil blockbuster Vishwaroopam was lifted today.
In a statement, the Home Ministry said the movie, directed and produced by south Indian movie superstar Kamal Haasan, will be allowed to screen in local cinemas as the special panel consisting of the National Film Censorship Board and the Islamic Development Department (Jakim) had looked into the movie from the religious and safety aspects.“Two discussion and review sessions were held with Jakim to reassess the content of the movie.
“Jakim, through its director general has agreed to allow the movie to be shown in the cinemas as it is satisfied with the censorship done by the Film Censorship Board.“Based on the reviews and opinions of all parties, the Ministry has agreed that Vishwaroopam will be allowed to be screened but on condition that the film distributors abide by the decision taken by the Film Censorship Board on the additional (scenes) from the film to be censored,” said the Film Censorship Board chairman Datuk Raja Azahar Raja Abdul Manap.

Apakah patut mereka dilepaskan begitu sahaja?
The answer to your question as above. Refer to the statement issued by KDN. JAKIM is the responsible body to review and bar certain scenes from the film before they could re-release to the local cinema. Re-release because it was approved back then before they banned it temporary for short review and now they approved it, AGAIN. Put the blame to JAKIM instead to the indian community. Jakim has failed to explain why we must stop the film. Not piggie-blinded blames the non muslim.
First, if we have something to say regarding the movie, we better put a valid argument related to the topic. Bragging about other stuff, dragging unrelated issues only showing that we are not enough credible to discredit the movie through facts.
Me, myself didn't agree with the movie. Singapore, the country which malays always labelled as racist also banned the movie. Means something is not right about the movie. The movie must be so insensitive toward the muslim and that's why many countries banned the movie, even in their homeland the movie became controversy. After several discussion and went going few editing process the movie then release in India.
If you can't accept the movie you have to list down your argument instead of writing below statement.
Pernahkah kita bersungut ketika perayaan Thaipusam? Seminggu sebelum perayaan, seluruh kawasan sekitar Batu Caves sesak. Kenderaan diparkir sesuka hati.
Mereka mendesak diberikan tambahan kerusi. Jika benar-benar ikhlas, pergilah menawarkan diri bertanding di kawasan majoriti ultra kiasu (Cina). Mintalah kerusi sebanyak mana pun.
None of your argument were pointing to the related issues. We are talking about the movie and you are bragging about the indian community in malaysia? What's the connection actually? I didn't see anything.
You didn't help the muslim community to translate the real reason why we must refuse and say no to the movie. You only help to make the situation change, from bad to worse. The indian community became more confused. And angry.
Nevermind then. When a muslim insulted islam, through their action, especially the way of their dressing, in the movie, none of them trying to fix the thing, even Ustaz Ridhuan Tee has shut down his mouth. But when non muslims questioning why we banned the film? What was going wrong? Need a futher explaination, then it's wrong.
I believed we can discuss the matter nicely with indian community without insulting each other. I also believed, the indian community can accept our argument as long as we provided the facts, not a wild accusation nor being racist to prevent racist. When a racist talks about how he hates racism while himself is practising it, then he must be a damm stupid.
Forget to mention this. Jakim is an islamic body and home minister is a muslim too. Ask them why they allowed such movie airing at the cinema in malaysia. :)
